Frosted

Frosted
green blades
crunch under foot.
Bracing breaths; foggy skies.
Winter.

What good is the warmth of summer, without the cold of winter to give it sweetness.”

    1. Thank you. My favourite part of my early morning walks is the first few ‘bracing breaths’ …they let you know you’re alive! Lol.
We get to -2/3oC here in Winter and it’s bitterly wonderful

      1. “Bitterly wonderful”–what a marvelous phrase! I lived in a northern US state for awhile when I was young–the winters definitely offered us the “bracing breaths” you speak of!

      2. Some people don’t like the cold but I don’t mind it. Northern US would Ben much colder than here but I’m sure just as ‘bitterly wonderful’ 😃
