Fingers drag wispy clouds across the sky,
covering the moon yet still a sliver.
Regardless, light seeps;
exposing cracks and skirting
a sleepy landscape.
My footprints impress the sand,
leaving a temporary story of who I am.
Then I enter the sea,
belonging to no one…
