No one dare say
this is going to be our year
We need to walk in slow
Tread quietly. Tiptoe.
Be cautious
Be respectful
Be prepared
And don’t touch anything
Let 2022 be.
Instead, just hope
Hope it knows the assignment
This year will be its own creation
– whether we like it or not.

*Line poetry contains a hidden message. When the last line of each stanza is read, it forms it’s own mini poem or tale.
Taoist poetry. Allowing … I love it. There’s a difference between trying to stop what’s coming and simply stepping aside so it doesn’t run you over. 🙂

Interesting you should write such. We have a family member expectant sometime in March and wants to make sure us adults have all of our ‘shots’ – So I’ve got to get another medical shot just so I can see the little darlin’ when it arrives. Mommy and Daddy are being super duper causious. Which is well in their rights – but pariona I don’t need.
Tip-toe indeed.
(Happy New Year!)
