This reminds me of my sisters dog. Many years ago (in the 60’s) she lived not far from a butcher shop. (Small town, she knew the butcher well) She would attach a bag with some loose change in it and the dog was trained to go down the back alley to the back door of the butcher shop and scratch on the door. The butcher would come to the door and put a bone n the bag and the dog would happily come home for his feast.
