Pantoum, Poetry by Sarah

Epiphany

She once had an epiphany –
time was not her friend.
It surrounded her, reminded her,
Her life was near its end.

Time was not her friend.
Resolute, she carried on.
Her life was near its end.
Each minute passed and gone.

Resolute, she carried on.
Her fortitude now grown.
Each minute passed and gone,
Her time was hers to own.

Her fortitude now grown.
Surrounding her, reminding her,
Her time was hers to own.
She once had an epiphany.
