Out and about on the streets of Carlton, an older, inner suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, there is a veritable smorgasbord of beautiful doors. I ventured down Drummond St mainly and a couple of alleyways. Over the next few weeks, I will showcase some of the wonderful doors I discovered.

There are so many architecturally beautiful buildings in Melbourne. Especially around Carlton. I have more to come!

Ooh #315 is gorgeous, but then again so is #1. That last one is cute too; somewhat narrower than a standard door yes?

Very much so! I don’t know how they get in! Slender people I guess. Lol

These are all great, although that last one looks a bit skinny. I love that red gate!

The red gate is one of my favourites. I found a few really skinny doors. Maybe people were more slender back then?
