Haiku / Senryu, Month Of Mini Writing Challenges 2017, Poetry by Sarah

Criminal Heart

The sweet scent of you
lingers; clinging to my skin
as your fingers did.

A crime of passion.
Forbidden love can ne’er be.
I push you away.

Broken in pieces,
before my eyes, and I curse
my criminal heart.
